Domestic Violence Awareness Banquet

Domestic Violence is a community problem! We need everyone to get involved and stop the murder of victims of domestic violence and or their children. The cycle must be broken and it starts with people who care. We can make a difference.

The banquet has a two-fold purpose: To bring awareness to you that domestic violence is real, traumatic, and sometimes deadly. Second: We need to raise funds to assist these victims to begin a new life free from violence.

Our speaker for the evening is a survivor of domestic violence. She will share with us the tragic events that took place in her life and the steps she took to bring justice. We will have a beautiful poem about domestic violence. There will be singers and Dinner will be served. It will be a special event that you will not forget.
